Equipment Installation
The installation of the bolted tank body is straightforward and rapid.
Steel panels are connected using high-strength bolts, with joints sealed by specialized sealants. According to design specifications, stiffeners are installed at corresponding panel layer connections for structural reinforcement. Once the tank body is formed, the bottom is secured to the reinforced concrete foundation using expansion bolts.
The tank can be installed using either top-down or bottom-up methods. In a top-down installation, the upper layers are bolted and sealed first, then the entire structure is raised using a combined jacking system to allow for the installation of the lower layers.
All required openings, such as manholes and nozzles, can be pre-cut at the factory during the fabrication stage.
